Application and enrolment information

You may elect to enrol in either:

Single unit enrolment (Internship program only) (Course code 3461 )  (12 points) comprising:

  • VCP5011 Applied pharmacy practice I (6 points)
  • VCP5012 Applied pharmacy practice II (6 points)

OR

The Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Course code 3460 ) (24 points) comprising:

  • VCP5011 Applied pharmacy practice I (6 points)
  • VCP5012 Applied pharmacy practice II (6 points)
  • Elective units totalling 12 points

The Graduate Certificate may be completed part time over 1 year, 18 months or 2 years and have up to 3 years to complete the course. Students can apply for up to 12 months intermission during the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice.You will receive a testamur upon graduation indicating your qualification of Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice.


How to apply

  • If applying for the Internship program component only -  fill out the faculty direct application form
  • If applying for the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice – complete the online e-admissions application  and upload your curriculum vitae (CV), qualifications and additional online information form. The CV may be used as part of the selection process for the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice.  Please include on your CV all pharmacy related work experience, other work experience, pharmacy related committee involvement (eg. VPSA, BAPS, NAPSA, SHPA, PSA etc.) and any other committee and community involvement.  Please do not include any student placements that are a component of the Bachelor of Pharmacy /Master of Pharmacy
  • Applications close for  Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) in the Graduate Certificate on Friday 31st October, 2008. Internship program and non CSP places in the Graduate Certificate close on Friday 15th November, 2008.  Note that CSP places are not available for the Internship program.
